Our History
The origins of our church.
St Kenneth's Parish Church
The earliest known "church" in Kennoway was thought to date back to St Kenneth, who first preached the Christian faith in the East of Fife in the 6th Century A.D.. The first definite written record mentions a church in Kennoway under the canonry of St Andrews in 1177. In 1619 the original old parish church in the Causeway underwent a major restoration, but after falling into disrepair by the 1840s the congregation moved on to the present Norman-style building in 1850.........
